Wansteadium Blitz project, 9 November 1940; Eagle Lane and Rodney Road
At six minutes past midnight on this night in 1940, German bombers dropped high explosives which landed at Eagle Lane, damaging phone lines. At 00.43 high explosives fell on Rodney Road, but did not cause any damage.
