Lovely – am trying to work out where it is. It looks like the lime tree avenue that stretches from the top of Blake Hall Road across Bushwood to Ferndale Road. Any other thoughts?

Don’t think so… the painting shows trees on both sides which the avenue doesn’t have. If the view is from the Temple, the left-hand side should be open ground. The lime tree avenue that’s my thought does have forest on both sides. Or perhaps the view is ‘artistic licence’?!
